Personalise your tartan watch strap

Every item we create is custom-made using authentic Scottish tartan, crafted with meticulous attention to detail.

1. Choose your Watch Size

Find your Apple Watch size printed on the back of your current device. This ensures your new tartan strap will fit perfectly - it's the watch case size, not your wrist measurement.

2. Choose your Buckle Colour

The buckle colour determines the metal finish of your strap's clasp and hardware, coordinating with your case colour to complete the look.

3. Add Leather Imprint

Make your leather strap uniquely yours with custom imprinting. Include your surname, initials, or clan name for a distinctive finishing touch that's unmistakably you.

Made-to-order, each Tartan Apple Watch Strap can be customised with the tartan of your choice.

The strap will be handmade with genuine tartan fabric from Scottish mills, with high-quality leather on the underside of the strap.

With a bespoke touch, we can imprint your name or a date on the leather side of the strap (up to 9 characters).

Please allow 3–5 weeks from ordering before dispatch for your custom creation. Occasionally, there may be delays beyond this timeframe due to production hold-ups at the weaving mills, which are outside of our control. If this occurs, we’ll do our best to keep you informed and appreciate your patience and understanding.

IMPORTANT: Please let us know the exact name of the tartan (e.g. MacKinnon Hunting Modern) in the "Name of Tartan" text box.

Please choose the adapter that corresponds to your Apple Watch size. To find your case size, check the engraving on the back of your Apple Watch.

You can also choose from 4 adapter colours: rose gold, silver, gold, or black.

Strap width: 20mm

Strap material: Scottish woven fabric (tartan) on top, British leather underneath.

Strap colour: Will vary due to individual tartan pattern

Your Highland timepiece will arrive within 1-5 working days (UK), 3-9 days (Europe), or 5-21 days (Rest of World).

Custom Tartan Watches require 3-5 weeks for crafting with authentic Scottish mill tartans, plus an additional 2-3 days for engraving.

All orders come with full tracking and our 2-year Highland warranty.

Returns are accepted within 28 days with proof of purchase, though personalised and custom-made items cannot be returned due to their bespoke nature.

How long does it take to receive my order

Approximately 3-5 weeks after placing your order, we will dispatch your Custom Tartan item. This is due to the time taken to source your woven tartan from the Scottish mills and weavers.

How do I know which tartan represents my heritage?

Nowadays, tartans are universally worn by anyone and have significance unrelated to clans. There are many different tartans that commemorate geographical locations, significant events, specific people etc.

We help you discover your perfect tartan! Whether it's your clan name, a location meaningful to you, or simply colours you love - there's a tartan for everyone. Contact us for personalised guidance.

Where do you get your tartan from?

All of our tartan comes from Scotland. We get all of our tartans directly from Scottish mills and ancient weavers of tartan that have manufactured tartans in Scotland for many years.

Can you work with any tartan?

Yes, we can use any tartan for the strap as long as it is available and manufactured for public use within Scotland. We will always do our best to find your tartan.

Can I see examples of how my tartan will look?

Absolutely! Send us your tartan choice and we'll show you examples of previous watches with similar patterns.

Can all watch straps be adjusted?

Yes all straps are adjustable, even our stainless steel straps can be adjusted at home to fit your wrist size.

Can I personalise my order?

Absolutely! Add leather imprint to your strap (up to 9 characters), or choose your clan's specific tartan pattern.

Many people choose to have a date for an anniversary, wedding or birthday.

What if I'm not satisfied with my watch?

We offer 28-day returns on all standard items. Custom and personalised pieces are made specifically for you and aren't eligible for returns.
